Hear what we have to say

The darkest road in the entertainment world is the film genre of horror.  As long as
directors and writers have been creating for film, they have wanted to scare us,
disgust us or even just offer up cheap thrills.  As horror fans we all want something
different.  Some seek to be shocked or to delve into the minds of madmen.  Some want
monsters, others ghost.  Some people just want to see how far the next director will
push the envelope of horror.

Darkroadratings.com is the flashlight to guide you down the dark twisting halls of
horror.  The horror genre is vast, including just about any flight of fancy you could
imagine.  It’s also, in my humble opinion the most abused genre.  Small start up studios
looking for a fast thrill buck find anyone to create the next direct to video blood bath.
Thanks to this onslaught, being a fan of horror is not an easy task.  We find ourselves
expecting, with every new movie, a film that lacks any ounce of character, good
scares or even just the bloody mess we came to see.  A horror fan’s tastes are as
varied as the films themselves.  Some of us like dark brooding movies, with complex
plots and twists.  Others like to laugh while watching a lawnmower wielding man slip
and fall in entrails.  We all have our own taste and we all have a certain something that
draws us to horror.  Through categorizing horror films and using a rating system you
can find movies that suit your taste and save the time of sifting though the direct to
video debris.  You can get your movie reviews just about anywhere these days.  Here
you will find a guide to what horror movies are going to offer you.  So click the links and
find some movies that you might like.  Let us at Darkroadratings.com do the dirty work
for you.
