Back of the box:

Five years after a young man, Billy, perishes in a remote wilderness cabin
near a creek, a group of his friends reconvenes there to assuage his
restless spirit. But when one of them turns up dead, they discover they
have been lured into the fight of their lives against a human killer -- or
worse. Erik Soulliard directs this tense thriller that stars Tim Jesiolowski,
Dave Foster, Kathryn Merry and Melissa Rhoads.
The Bloody Truth:

The Creek comes to us as a completely independent film
spearheaded by fairly new to the scene writer/director Erik Soulliard.

The Creek is far from a major motion picture, yet manages to stand
out from the larger budget direct to video trash that lines our video
stores.  It does this on the back of the director's passion and a small
cast of characters that, as the movie progresses, show well fleshed
out development and  individual personalities.

The story is one we have heard before and the lack of budget is
obvious in the special effects and film quality.  This can hurt the
reality a bit but if you can forgive it these shortcomings a truly fun and
creepy film lies beneath.

We're looking forward to seeing Soulliard take these qualities
forward into his next film.

The Creek is recommend to fans of independent and student films.
