Back of the box:

Picking up where Night of the Living Dead left off, this classic horror flick
from director George Remero  begins with zombies taking over every major
city in the United States.  Running for their lives, Peter, Roger, Stephen
and Frances find refuge in a remote shopping mall, only to discover they
must fight a motorcycle gang as well as the undead ghouls.
The Bloody Truth:

Like all of Romero's work the movie is rich in social commentary.  The
characters are well developed and realistic even if at times it can be hard
to put yourself in their place.  The special effects are often disappointing
and doesn't compare to Ro
mero's later efforts, yet the low budget and
aged look of the film can't take away from this character driven classic.
