8) Carrie White – Carrie (1976)

The only teenager on our list, Carrie stands
out as the ultimate misunderstood drama queen.
After she gets her first period quite unexpectedly
Carrie takes the notion of PMS to horrific heights
with her telekinetic powers in the 1976 film based
on Stephen King’s classic novel.  With a freaky religious mother and a
mousy demeanor how else is a girl supposed to get a little attention?
Don’t listen to what the popular kids say Carrie, we love you!
6) The Twins – The Shining (1980)

“Come and play with us Danny …”  It’s hard to make
friends when you’re a kid.  It’s even harder when
you’re a weird kid.  But when you’re a weird kid
who lives in a creepy, haunted and supposedly
empty hotel, it’s next to impossible to find a
playmate.  The twins don’t say much.  They don’t
even really do much.  But darn it if they don’t somehow manage to tempt us
all down that blood soaked hallway with their hollow eyes and sing song
voices anyway.
4) Gage Creed - Pet Semetary (1989)

“NO FAIR!” One minute you’re running through a
field, chasing a kite and the next thing you know
you’re slicing open your neighbors’ Achilles
tendon because your parents can’t deal with the
fact that you just got hit by a Mac Truck!  Poor
little Gage is disturbing on so many levels.
3) The Children - Village of the Damned (1960)

Midwich, England – A great place to raise a family … so long
as you don’t mind killing yourself.  The angelic faces on the
little tykes running around (who coincidentally all happen to
be born on the same day) hide a deadly power.  The glowing
eyes, the ability to control absolutely with nothing more than
a thought … I bet they have a hard time finding a baby sitter
in that town
2) Regan MacNeil – The Exorcist (1973)

Bad skin, foul mouthed, violent – and she isn’t even a
teenager yet!  There is little creepier than watching
someone get jerked around from the inside out like a
puppet on a string.  And Regan certainly holds the title
for most disturbing moment on this list – spider-walk
anyone?  What’s the only thing worse than having a child
who is possessed by the devil? …
1) Damien Thorn – The Omen (1976)

… Having a child who IS the devil.  Forget about swear jars and
timeouts.  When your son is Satan incarnate what else is there to do
but hire a nanny almost as evil as he is?  Damien is the ultimate
problem child.  And what a horribly creepy smile that kid has!
